My last day in at the National Sports Museum drawing free caricatures. It’s an amazing place. AFL and AFLW stars where there every day. I got to draw them too. Kaitlyn Asmore and Gryan Miers. Fletcher Roberts and Nina Morrison.

Cartoonist John Spooner was at the MCG Library on July 3rd to help launch Paul Harvey’s new book, ‘Footy Stars:30 Years of Caricatures’. 30 years – that’s how long Paul has caricatured leading AFL players: Ablett, Matthews, Dyer, Flower, Blight…they’re all there in the 160 page book. Guest speaker was Coodabeen Champions’ Ian Cover. It retails for $59.99 and is the ultimate coffee table book…you might want one for the man cave too

For over 30 years Paul Harvey 
has caricatured hundreds of the greatest players to ever don a football boot. From Coventry and Dyer, Matthews and Ablett, Flower and Blight through to Hipwood and Tipungwuti, Harv has drawn them all in his own inimitable style. His caricatures have appeared on everything from book and magazine covers to framed milestone celebrations, emojis, toffee tins, micro-figures, t-shirts, and stubby holders.
